Work experience along with past academic record and CAT score are important factors for getting an interview call for any IIM.

Yes, you can. IIM, Ahmedabad does not give any preference to applicants with work experience. However, it does recommend students to join the programme after having worked for 2 years and hence it also provides an option for deferment where you can apply and get selected as a fresher but join after

Of course you can get directly without any work experience but for that you have to have good academics. Close to 90% marks in 10th and 12th and also good marks in your graduation. After this you have to crack the GD-PI rounds of the college.
