Hi,
As per me i would suggest you that instead of checking the institute you should firstly check about the opportunities you can get after completing the course , see m point is not to confuse you but think practically if you are doing a course on 1 year or 3 years what after that has to be clear

Game designing course is 3 years long... The maya course is an amateur thing... If you want to be a professional in game design it's better you go 4 a reputed college/institute(I'm not talking about maya or such).

Knowledge is always beneficial irrespective of the source from which it is acquired. So in that sense it would be good for you. But the name of the institute you mentioned is not that highly known in general and therefore you might have to strategically plan & work hard to get yourself projected to

To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as preproduction. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax and Character animations in Maya, Only the models are made with less polygons and more textures. So choose a program that teaches you these software

The institute name you mentioned is one of the leading and premium brand in animation sector. Will suggest to enhance your technical skills by more and more practices, also focus on your communication and personality so that when you finish your training, you will be industry ready.
