Drop 1 year after 12th or not ?

Friends, my sole aim is to clear NDA and i have just finished my 12th.I have decided to prepare for nda as well as ssb this year and appear for nda the next year but i dont want to just let go this year in vain so want to join BABU BANARASI DAS (B.Tech) . suggest me whether i am going right or not ?

    I dropped a year after 12th for NDA and SSB preparations.
