Category declared during Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 registration cannot be changed during Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2023 registration. JEE Main Application Form 2023 process;
1- Visit the official JEE Main/NTA website.
2- Register for the exam.
3- Fill in essential details.
4- Upload documents.
5- Pay the application fee.
6- Book your slots for the exam.

Is you have registered your category other than GENERAL and you will not be able to provide the authorised Certificate of that category then you would be considered as GENERAL candidate to compete for that seat. So basically it's not possible to change and you can try to mail NTA and the exam conducting body IIT if JEE Advance to look into the matter if they can help
