eligibility criteria for CDS examination

Hi Ram, Combined Defense Services (CDS) conducts an entrance examination for entry into the officer cader of Army, Navy and Air Force in the months of April and October. Candidates qualifying in written examination have to appear before a service selection board (SSB) for interview. Hi Ram, The &quot;Combined Defense Services&quot; Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, etc. CDS Educational Qualifications : 1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. 2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. ( with Physics or Mathematics ) for NCC entry. 3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of recognized University ( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level ) or Bachelor of Engineering. Successful Candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by SSB (service selection board).
