what are the requirements for a mechatronics engineer to be placed in a mechatronics based company..? little worried about my placement.....

Did you college not introduce teh importance of your branch in Industry? That has to be their primary function before awarding a degree. Any way, mecjhatronics is notheing but a dual specialization in Mechanical and electronics as applied to manufacturing, automation etc.
