It is JEE Mains. But, earlier it was taking UPTU too, not now. Hope it will help you.

HBTU is no longer a part of UPTU since 2017, they accept admission only on the basis of your JEE Mains scorecard. For CS/IT your rank should be under 5k and for core branches under 8k.

HBTU Kanpur give admissions on basis of JEE Mains entrance exam. The minimum ranks you need in different departments to get admission in HBTU Kanpur are:
CSE - 3000
EE-4000
ECE-8700
IT-3500.
