Examinations - has it killed education
Is it right to judge someone on the basis of just an exam. A student who is very good at his education but for some unknown reasons he is failed to clear his exam do you think it is right justice for that guy.

Hello, It is not a good way to check one's skills based on examinations. Students may have good knowledge but due to their bad luck sometimes, they may miss a high score. But missing scores doesn't mean the student is dull or unskilled. We have to check the capability and skills of students at every

Exams are the worst method of checking and ranking talent. However, being one of the only methods to allow mass categorization, it continues to be popular. So using it in classroom is unjustified where the teacher already understands everyone's capabilities.

there can be 2 sides to the situation that student has failed in the exam. first side is that a student is very brilliant and sincere in studies. Let me make correction to my statement.I will always encourage students to be scholars, good in studies. If required. I will like to pass students (who can be passed with grace marks) if they are good in extra curricular activities. A scholar in Football should be called scholar (let it be sports) a

Well marks in an exam doesn't depict a persons level of maturity and Intelligence. Failure again has its own pros and cons depending on the current situation. IT is not but unfortunately so is the case not just in this country but elsewher also but our country lags behind as students do not have the liberty to choose subjects they wish to pursue and are stuck with subjects enforced upon them and are judged on those parameters.

I agree that failing in a particular exam does not states the person is dumb or stupid. The problem lies in question paper. Now when multiple intelligence theory has been accepted internationally and so many learning disabilities has been discovered but we are still teaching and testing our children
