Fashion design courses at LPU is better or at Amity university?

Well, all universities perform well at their own ends but Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace. My cousin sister is pursuing Design (Fashion) from LPU itself. She has discussed few points with me about her course:- She told me Study tours are an integral part of curriculum with visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lecturers from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colours. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Also Students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation. They get intensive exposure to practical work in Pattern making, Draping, Weaving, Printing, Dyeing, Garment Construction labs. Students are given various Live-projects during the course of the programme to create commercially viable designs. School of Design organized Face Painting and nail painting competition for students to showcase their creative talents. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. LPU students have been placed in well reputed national as well as international clothing brand like H & M, acquiring 14 Lacs + per annum pay package. Genesis, a premium brand under Reliance Retail selected 6 students at an average pay package of 4 lac Per annum. SatyaPaul selected 4 students @ the average package of 4 lac Per annum. Satya Paul is India's premier designer label with an International presence. Prominent brands like Coach, Genesis, Michael Kors, Armani Exchange, Diesel, Kate Spade, Steve Madden selected LPU students.

In my Opinion Lovely Professional University will be the best option for you for pursuing Fashion Design Program. Aspirants can pursue Fashion Design as a course at the undergraduate or even at the postgraduate level. Apart from this, aspirants can even pursue short-term Diploma or Certificate programmes in the field of Fashion Design. Brahma Ventures is primarily a design styling and consultancy firm started by LPU alumni Batch 2014-16, Sancharan sural jain.
