Well, all universities perform well at their own ends but Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace. My cousin sister is pursuing Design (Fashion) from LPU itself. She has discussed few points with me about her course:- She told me Study tours are an integral part of curriculum with visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lecturers from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colours. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Also Students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation. They get intensive exposure to practical work in Pattern making, Draping, Weaving, Printing, Dyeing, Garment Construction labs. Students are given various Live-projects during the course of the programme to create commercially viable designs. Hi vaibhavi, If you aspire to be the future designers, merchandisers and entrepreneurs. Fashion Technology Programme will work. Though, there is a good scope of this profession in India as well as abroad. ! The scope of fashion technology is not only limited to garments. They are free to join garment manufacturing companies, fashion houses, export units etc. After the completion of their studies. You can proceed your education from NIFD via qualifying UCEED exam or there are so many other prominent Institutes like in North India there is LPU. Lovely Professional University is located in Phagwara place nearby Jalandhar city of Punjab state. Hello, I am an Alumni of LPU and have done B.Com and then MBA from LPU. I do not have any idea about Fashion Design courses in other institutes but I can tell you on the feedback of my friend who has done B. Design Fashion from LPU and now she is running her own leading brand and always praises LPU for the exposure and opportunities she got here in LPU. Let me share with you the details. The School of Fashion Design at the Lovely Professional University is doing outstanding work in the area of design. They organize fashion shows for students on a regular basis. It offers students a perfect opportunity to show their creativity to a wide audience. Famous designers are also taking part in the event. The infrastructure for realistic work is really strong at the university. Students should take advantage of the programme of the course, which has given more priority to practical skills. Scholarships are another matter of concern. Students may apply for scholarships on the basis of their score in the qualification exam or on the basis of their success in the university examination. Anyway you can enjoy the campus and the course here, and you can succeed in the profession after you complete the course. Students are allowed to play with various fabrics in order to construct conceptual wear and accessories. Educational tours and industrial exhibition.
