    HI All,
I think fashion designing have more scope as compared to textile designing because a fashion designer can even work in areas of textile designing apart from other fashion related areas. But the textile designers only have limited career avenues restricted to only the textile sector.

A textile designer creates designs, patterns for fabric and develops fabric structures. The end product of a textile designer is fabric and embellishment of fabrics.
On the other side a fashion designer creates designs and patterns for clothing. Fashion designers also create designs for footwear and accessories.

    Hi,
A fashion designer is a creative individual dedicated to the creation of a garment or series of garments & accessories (often referred to as a fashion line or collection)
A textile designer, on the other hand, is solely tasked with creating the artwork for textiles (fabrics). Textile designers are usually skilled at setting up seamless design repeats so that entire bolts of fabric can be printed utilizing the same design prior to being cut and sewn into finished garments
