Dear Student, All Flemish universities in Belgium, including the VUB, are financed by the Flemish government, which results in much lower tuition fees. The calculation of these tuition fees is rather complex. Students from the European Economic Area (EEA) pay around 600 euro/year when enrolled full time (54-66 ECTS/year), while non-EEA students pay around 1700 euro per academic year.
