If you have 8 to 10 yeras experience you can apply for MSC.materails Management course as a mature student. It is one year post graduation in UK

A strong base in engg is most suitable. Of course, you can do a diploma /certification from Indian Institute of Materials Management and get into the field. Since it concerns the business world, a basic engg degree will give you an edge.
