For a mediocre student which one is better option IHM from Chennai or aerospace engineering from LPU? Please reply fast.

Though both institutions provide excellent academics, as an LPU alumnus, I'd like to give some information about LPU. I don't know much about the IHM but I have some sort of idea for aerospace engineering at LPU. One of LPU's most popular degrees is B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering. LPU is much ahead of the game in this area, having established the Center for Space Research and Mission Control. There are training electives available to allow students to acquire customized training that is practical and hands-on to Industrial Training. This course will help in analyzing the suitable professional level while learning the latest techniques, interpret and apply the expertise and knowledge learned in the course of the degree programme, integrate independent and original work of practical importance, develop and critically evaluate different solutions, understand the methods in the field of study and effectively implement that, develop a suitable professional level while learning the latest techniques. INDUSTRY CO-OP PROJECT. The programme comes with engineering minors too: AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SPACE ENGINEERING and pathway electives: ADVANCED AEROSPACE TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION Recently a team from Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab called Visionauts comprising seven B.Tech Mechanical Engineering final year students represented the university in the annual event held on April 12-13 at the US Space Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks the third consecutive year, a team from LPU has been selected by NASA for the competition. Now you can well imagine the exposure to aerospace students LPU has a stellar record of placement s with over 100 companies being regular recruiters.

Dear Sanjay Kundu, I am not much aware of the IHM programme from Chennai but being alumni of LPU I can say aerospace engineering is good at LPU. I would say LPU has good infrastructure for Aerospace engineering. My cousin's sister is pursuing B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering at LPU itself and she is in the final year now. She told me that recently 3 students from aerospace engineering won gold at the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC), 2021. IAAC is one of the worlds the largest astronomy competitions. LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1. The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download lives satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecraft The Center will ACT as a key facility in the field of space research for LPU as well as a virtual lab for Universities, Colleges and Schools in India and the neighboring countries of India A team of students, Visionauts, from Lovely Professional University have won the prestigious STEM Engagement Award in the 2019 NASA's One of the Aerospace Engineering 2nd year students at Lovely Professional University, Riddhi Malhotra has been honoured with the Hall of Fame award. The occasion was the Annual International Astronomy & Physics Competition (AIAPC-21) organized by worldwide reputed Physics & Science-based website Physeeks. IHM - Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology, Chennai doesn't provide course Aerospace Engineering. But Lovely Professional University provides the same B.Tech Aerospace Engineering. B.Tech Aerospace Engineering designed for learners intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. Eligibility criteria - pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or JEE Main (74 marks). Programme fee is 104500 without any scholarships. One can fetch great scholarships through: 1) on the basis of LPUNEST 2) on the basis of percentage in 10+2 3) on the basis of JEE Main paper 2. 4) on the basis of performance (sports, cultural etc. ) So I suggest you that LPU is best for the same.
