In MSU, Baroda, both entrance test as well as direct admission are available. Direct admission is merit based and entrance test process includes a test, GD and PI. You can choose according to your convenience.
In various recognized universities, there are entrance tests held followed by an interview to judge the eligibility of the candidate seeking admission. So it depends on the college that you choose.
The basic eligibility criteria for Bachelor course in History/ Archaeology (i.e B.A level) of three-year duration, is 10+2 or equivalent. After graduation one can opt for a Post graduate Diploma or Degree course in Archaeology.
