The basic eligibility criteria for IITs is 12th with minimum 75% of aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates those are appearing in 12th are also eligible to apply for JEE Main. Further the admission in IITs are done on the basis of ranks obtained in JEE Advanced conducted among the JEE Main qualifiers.
