    Hello, Thapar University has a great name in Northern India. Both the campuses host a great number of companies during the placements period. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about one campus and is valid for other also. http://www.thapar.edu/placements.

    Yes, Thapar University offers the B.Tech in CS in both the campus Derabassi and Patiala. Despite the campus being at two separate locations the quality of education, faculty support and placements don't really vary much. As both of them are part of Thapar University, so you won't see a compromise in salary packages or placement offers the students receive, but at the same time I would also like to say that the offers also depends on the potential a candidate displays during his recruitment process and throughout the academic tenure.
