From my point of view, NIT-Delhi is a good option where you can find a good package. But the salary packages also depend on someone's skills and talent. The college doesn't have very important role in the placement.

Hello, Salary packages depend upon someone's skill level. Top companies such as HCL, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. can offer good salary packages while the other companies' packages are average. Similarly, packages also depend upon the college reputation, type and ranking. So my rankings are

According to my opinion you should go for NIT rather than Thapar or PEC.
