For counselling in NIT, do we use AIR or category rank? My AIR is 47000 but SC category rank is 1317. Can I get admission in NITs?

If you belong to any category, then your category rank matters. You will get NIT Moreover if you have a benefit of home state. Just see through the previous year cut off and decide accordingly for your branches. But I think you will get it.
