for engineering should be go through polytechnic or 12th science?

It would be good,if you go through Polytechnic . It is better to understand the engineering concepts in detailed manner. But it is costly affair than 12 science.......

itz better to go through polytechnic caz it will elp ew get more knowledge abt practical usage of different physical n engineering concepts which later can help u..more over aftr completing polytechnic u r qualified as junior engineer n u can go to different fields later.
