Both are the major streams for the business, but don't choose the streams by the colleges you go. Choose the stream which you are passionate about, so that it will help you in each and every aspect of the course. Now, coming to colleges, Kirloskar is very good in both, content wise and the placements also. It is one of the best B-Schools in Karnataka. it stands for the quality and knowledge in kirloskar, the placements for Finance are good. For HR, it is somewhat okay, but team is trying hard for the companies to come for each stream without any biasedness. Kirloskar is the best option I guess.

IPE, Hyderabad is a better option. IPE has distinguished faculty with vast academic and industry experience, excellent placement record, conducive environment to learn and excellent infrastructure.
