For joining NID, what is the basic qualification needed. Is it necessary to take science in 10+2? Can other streams apply too?
Please let me know if a student wants to join NID needs to take Science in 10+2 or else can he take commerce even?

Hi Cherian, National Institute of Design is prominent institute in India for the aspirants of Design. The institute carried out entrance examination for the creative and talented people who wanted to pursue a career in Design, called National Entrance Examination for Design (NID NEED).
