For me/M.Tech courses in AnnaUniversity, is it compulsory to have a valid score in GATE or is TANCET score sufficient?

Both entrance scores are acceptable for M.Tech admission at Anna University. The eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility : Candidates who have passed all the subjects in the recognised Bachelors Degree or equivalent field and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying degree examination as per AICTE norms are eligible. Further, the candidates shall possess I) T A N C E T 2020 percentile score (or) ii) GATE 2018 / 2019 / 2020 qualified score in the appropriate discipline of Engineering / Technology.
