There are no set marks for admission in NIT the cut off changes every year in every branch. So it's not about a fix score that will ensure that you will get admission in NITs in mechanical engineering. For more details check out the previous year's cutoff of every NIT category wise and then decide.

Frankly, you need 102 marks for OBC to get into NIT - Pondicherry to get into the 5-year integrated course for mechanical and around 115 for the 4-year course. Moreover, kindly mention if you want to know about a specific college.
