    You have to start preparing first gs and csat and then subject according to your needs.you can refer TMH manual initially then go for special books.co.aching depends on your level of understanding.although it is not necessary but if it is good ,it help in covering syllabus quickly

    Hi,
    It depends upon you whether you need coaching or not. You can move with the right attitude and proceed towards your goal.
    Go for self preparation if (finance is a constraint) that requires combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
    *Get the right books for Prelims
    *Start preparing at least 10 months before
    *Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
    *Cover the scoring sections early
    *Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach for prelims
    *Balance paper 1 and 2
