You need to give VITMEE which is an entrance exam conducted by them. The syllabus is similar to GATE. There is no specific paper for biomedical people, so you need to give instrumentation paper. You can also check the brochure of this exam that would help you figure out which field exam you need to take.
Based on the results, they would come up with All India Ranks and the counseling would be based on those ranks.
