Better to do IELTS. You can see British Council website for getting materials. It is more better if you take coaching in a coaching center and then write the exam.

Hi Ayush, you can write either TOEFL or IELTS if you are willing to go to UK. The books are easily available at book stores. Also, if you appear for IELTS British Council provides a free practise book to students after registering for the exam.
