From which year should I start preparing for CAT exam so that I can get a good institute?

Ideally, two years are sufficient to prepare for CAT. However, that's just a perspective, I know people who have aced the CAT with just 6-8 months of preparation. Everything depends on you, the amount of effort and dedication that you put in for the preparation. It is not necessary to have work experience in MBA, but definitely it helps.
