    After the completion of your BSc programme, obtain a master's degree in Physics/ Astronomy/Astrophysics. After the successful completion of MSc, one can clear NET and go for specialization in astronomy/astrophysics leading to Ph. D. which enables one to become an astronomer/ astronaut/ astrophysicist or a scientist/ research officer etc. in the field of space research.
    School of Pure and Applied Physics of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, offers an M.Sc. course in Physics with Astrophysics as specialization. IISc, some IITs, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Osmania University etc. may be in your list of institutions offering

    There are a lot of openings for you after B.Sc Physics. You can opt for M.Sc Physics, Astrophysics : - This sector has many job opportunities you may join M.sc.
