Can I do Ph.D. in genetic engineering after my B.Sc. Hons in microbiology and M.Sc. In virology? I have pcm+ b in my class 12.

Hello Neel, seeing your academics I can definitely say that you can do your Ph.D. in genetics. But if I may ask, what is your understanding of genetic engineering? I think the field will require further studies too, to make a successful career, if you are prepared for long haul; in studies till doctorate level, go ahead.
