    to appear for the civil services, you should have a degree from universities or educational institute that which are recognised as universities by The Univeristy Grants Commission Act 1956 or an equivalent qualification.In that case you can appear for the civil services exam even if you are awaiting your final year results. Since you have not mentioned the university from where you are acquiring your degree, it would be advisable to check with the distance learning Institute if they are recognised by the UGC ACT 1956.     Yes, as per the uGC as well as ministry of HRD circular, a distance learning degree holder is eligible for public sector job in the central government subject to following conditions
    1. The course as well as institute must have DEC/ UGC dEB approval
    2. The degree should have been awarded without any territorial jurisdiction violation
    3. The Course must be of minimum 3 years duration

    are the students distance education degree without intermediate are eligible to wright the bank exams.& without intermediate ihad completed degree in distance &mba regular.so iam eligible for bank exams&other.

    without 10th and intermediate. i wrote the entrance examination which was conducted by Andhra university i got my bachelors degree . i only have that Qualification am i Eligible to appear Civil Service?
