If you want to become a pilot the best place to go for flying training is Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA). It is the best flying school in the country and probably the best in the world. It has campus placements from Air India and Indian Airlines (Now Air India). It is the best and safest way to become a pilot as you have a job almost assured. training to become a pilot is quite laborious. Before taking on the role of a pilot, you need to obtain a commercial pilot's license, issued by the Director General(civil aviation). You can pursue pilot training at any of the flying clubs in India. The list of DGCA approved flying schools is available at the website: www.dgca.nic.in. You need to be at least 16 years old, should have qualified 10+2 with maths and physics; and need to possess a medical certificate for fitness.
