Sir/Madam, I would likt to add in continnuation with my previous questions I am a BSc(Gen) fresher 2007 currently working in BPO and wanted to start my career in IT. I am confused to choose Java or Dot Net. I would like to know which has a good Fresher's Job Market as I've heard that a Java person with less then two yrs of work exp is not entertained very much as compared to Dot Net.

    While Java is backed up by Sun Microsystems, .Net is backed by Microsoft. Some companies prefer Java environment while others the graphical interface provided by Dot Net . Both Dot Net and Java are development platforms to create web applications and regardless of the long-term result, it seems unavoidable that technology managers, strategists and software developers will have to contend with both of these frameworks for some time to come.
