What is the scope of CFP after MBA finance ?

Hi Taru, Yes, CFP is a best course to do after MBA (Finance) as many organizations are hiring individuals with dual qualifications (MBA + CFP). As far as from where you should pursue CFP, it depends upon where you are located, i.e. If you are residing in North India, then you can either join IIFP or ICoFP for pursuing CFP, but if you are located in West India, then you should look at "Financial Planning Academy" and so on. Hi, After MBA Finance, CFA and CFP are two courses one can enroll in. CFP is a an investment professional who helps individuals set and achieve their long-term financial goals through investments,tax planning,asset allocation,risk management, retirement planning and estate planning. The course content is based on quantitative techniques of analysis of relevant data. The areas where a CFA can use his skills are: financial accounting, management accounting, financial management(both as relevant to India and for the international scene)investment management, security evaluation, project planning,venture capital management and credit rating among other things. Hi Tarun,BLB and IIFP both are recognized globally. You can certainly consider any of them for CFP.BLB is a private organization while IIFP is a centeralized one.Both provide with ample job opportunities .The decision has to be taken by you.I hope this helps.
