Hi, the best engineering colleges in mumbai are Mumbai university institute of chemical tech, Sardar Patel college of engineering, DJ Sanghvi, VJTI, UDCT, SPCE ,VESIT,FR.AGNEL (Bandra) ,TSEC ,KJ Somaiya ,AGNEL (Vashi). You need to work hard , putting a planned consistent effort.For admission to top colleges you need to within 1000-2000 rank ,for getting a desired branch. You will need to give in time and commitment for preparation of the entrance exam. However we cannot benchmark the rank as it depends on the overall performance of a particular batch.Good Luck. -
The more the better for securing a seat with a good college.Other than the ones mentioned above u could try for Sardar patel,Rajiv Gandhi,K.J Somaiya. Your question is a little vague because u have not mentioned the branch you want to pursue.Because some colleges are good for selective courses.

the best engineering college in mumbai is VJTI and u need to score around 99 percentile to get through it.But u can also opt for UDCT,SWAMI VIVEKANAND,SABOO SIDHIK,FATHER AGNEL etc.
