Hi, there are three main things to be considered when doing MCA from a not so reputed college : 1st) whether the syllabus is upto date as per industry trends and demands or not. If the syllabus does not match industry standards then you will have problem in placements despite spending time and money. 2)You may not be able to get the opportunity of campus placements and so you will have to struggle on your own to get a job as fresher. 3) Even if there are campus placements happenning the companies may not be so reputed ones so obviously salary will also get effected. No second thought buddy. Unless you possess extraordinary skills and work hard, getting a well paid and secure job would remain a day dream in the current competitive environment,if you are from obscure institues. If you enter a renowned institue, the amount of effort you'll have to put in to get a good job would be less. This doesn't mean that you won't get a good job from obscure universities. Only that you'll have to put in sustained hard work and move towards continuous development. After all,if you are a hard worker,your career is in your hands,irrespective of the institutes you study in. -
Sometimes, it will matter.
Doing MCA from a reputed institute from a recognised institute, might land you in a good job thro' campus placement
