Hi, Follow the syllabus thoroughly. Even if you cannot finish all the options given, at least make sure that you know some of the concepts in each unit. Dont limit yourself to only the books you have. Since there are no prescribed books for NET (only the topics are given), try to get additional information on the subject from other books and articles. Try to get the latest information on the topic from the Internet also. Use your favourite search engines for this. Most of the questions in the test are to be answered in brief and to the point. So practice beforehand by trying to write answers in 300 words (for short answers) or 800 words (essay type). Try not to cross the word limit and check the time taken to write the answers. First get your fundamentals right, and then test yourself on those fundamentals. When you have done this, you should pit yourself with the competition, which means a mock test, which would give you a percentile to let you know where you stand amongst competitors.
