The National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination is an entrance examination organized at the all India level by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruiting personnel for the Army, Navy and Air Force of the National Defence Academy. The NDA examinations are held twice a year, normally in the month of April and September and successful candidates are required to undergo training in NDA for a period of 3 years. Eligibility is as follows: XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities, Unmarried male candidates only, Age between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
