What is the Scope of MBA in tourism? What type of jobs will you get?

i m ankit panday from nainital.and i have done my mba tourism.so i want two ask you how much starting salary after done mba tourism!!!!thanx.i waiting for your reply!!!

Plenty of career opportunities include in food and grocery segment like supermarkets/grocery chains, convenience stores and fast-food chains; non-food segment like lifestyle/fashion segments, apparel/accessories, books/music/gifts, appliances and consumer durables, drugs and pharmacy. Job opportunities after MBA Travel and Tourism course includes as marketing / executives or in managerial positions in the tourism and travel industry. Majority of the vacancies are in the private sector. There is great scope for professionally qualified person for starting their own ventures in Tourism and travel. Job prospects exist in both public as well as private sector. In the public sector, opportunities include in the government tourism departments and in the private sector, in a travel agencies, hotels, airlines, transport and cargo companies etc. MBA courses by government run universities like Delhi University, Lucknow University, Pune University etc. would provide low fees for MBA. You can check with Universities in your state for the same. Private or semi-private institutes like IIMs, XLRI, Symbiosis etc would charge you 4-5 times the fees charged by a university. In distance MBAs, you may explore courses from ICFAI (icfai.org), Madurai Kamaraj (mkudde.org), IGNOU (ignou.ac.in), Tamil Nadu Open Univ and MDU Rohtak Unvi, Anna Univ (annauniv.edu/cde) etc for low fees as well as good distance education.
