As rightly pointed out to you by Madhu Joshi, you need to do B.Pharma which is a two year course and you may do it from any Govt approved University in your area which provides this education. For getting entry into B.Pharma you need to pass XIIth in the science stream. If you need to open the medical shop urgently then the other option is to open the shop in the name of some other person who is a B. Pharma and then when you complete your B.Pharma you can get it transferred in your name.

Hi, usually, the first requirement to open a chemist shop/pharmacy is to be a Pharmacist and registering with Pharmacy Council of India. However, we would suggest you to visit the website of Pharmacy Council Of India (http://pci.nic.in/) for all the requirements, as these requirements might change time to time. You may explore D. Pharma (diploma in Pharmacy) or degree in Pharmacy. You may visit the website of Pharmacy Council Of India for the list of list of institutions approved of the pharmacy act. Hope this helps.
