i have passed my 12th board this year.but i have failed in maths.since i took six subjects in total so cbse has declared me a passed candidate.my subjects are english core,physics,chemistry,physical education,biology. i got 66 in ehlish,70 in physical education,47 in physics,45 in chemistry,and 52 in biology. please help me that how can i make a good career ahead in life. also let e know that with this marks which are the fields where i can go.and if not this year how can i prepare for the next year.please help me.i dont want to ruin my life.

Hi, Pursuing a course depends on your aptitude interests and long-term goals. These days the scenario has changed almost every career be it IT, telecommunication, hospitality, travel, entertainment, research have good career prospects. Being from PCM background if you wish you can prepare for engineering entrance exams and opt for engineering. You could Pursue a B.Sc in core subjects (Physics, chemistry, maths). You can go for MCA after finishing BCA and take up a career in networking domain if software does not interest you. A career in networking is challenging, as it requires lot of trouble shooting and designing and management of computer networks etc. If you like marketing and have a good communication skill you could opt for BBM with specialization in Marketing or even go for B.Com . Later leverage your Graduation with a MBA degree. Options are many, you need to analyse your strengths, skills, and interests, ability, aptitude, ambition and educational qualifications in choosing a career. There is no point trying out too many diverse things. Do try to focus on where you like to see yourself some years down the line and work hard at getting there. Other than Science and IT you can look into other options like- Law, Design architecture, actuary, Media, Management, Hospitality, Academics and social work etc, are all viable but all lead to different jobs. It is therefore imperative as we said before that you introspect to decide what exactly you want out of your career and then make a focused attempt to reach those goals. At present you need to put in hard work so that you secure good marks and then pursuing a career in the field of your choice. Good luck
