Hi, Commercial pilot training is expensive and to facilitate students wishing to pursue it, banks provide loans e.g. for training courses in India and abroad, from institutes recognized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation/DGCA, you can avail SBI Career Loan, Union Bank of India, etc. You can check the details of the loan amount and interest rates on the bank web sites. Candidates, short-listed for Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a rigorous three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy, followed by specialised training at the Air Force Academy. If you have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics you can seek entry into the Flying Branch through the NDA or CDSE. UPSC conducts a written test twice a year in April & August (NDA) and April & September (CDSE). Advertisements for the examinations are released about six months in advance. On clearing the test, you will go through a number of psychological tests, an interview and group activities, which are collectively called the Officer Like Qualities (OLQ) Tests. Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) is a unique test aimed at assessing a candidate’s aptitude to be trained as a pilot.
