first i wud advice you to not to put the distance barrier in front of your career. Just try to pursue your choice of course from the best. Considering you interest in travel and tourism, i want you to go for BBA (Travel and tourism). UTM Shillong offers this course. you can expect a good start of your career on the successful completion of the course.
