Can you tell me what is the difference between government recognised and government registered course, i have complted my diploma mechanical eng and want to complete my garduation by doing BSC IT. Do i get an exumption in BSC IT after diploma. Awaiting your reply...i even asked questions earlier but never got any reply..

Hi, a government recognised course is one that has been accredited by a governemnt body as a valid degree/diploma for all purposes of employment with private as well as governement sector. It certifies certain level of course delivery quality and infrastructure being met at the time of imparting education for that specific diploma/degree.As far as governemnt registered is concerned, all colleges and institutes, including schools have to be registered as a society or trust. Only then they are considered legal and valid. A registered course and institute does not necessarily means it is recognised or accredited by govrnement.Since you have completed your diploma in mechanical Engineering ideal will be that you go for BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile. For being eligible for lateral entry into BSc.(IT) your diploma stream should be Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication or IT. Hope this helps. All the Best!
