Hi, to become a professor, you will need to appear for the UGC-NET exams for lecturership. The eligibility test for lecturers, National Eligibility Test (NET), is conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC. The State level test SLET is for appointments within the state. Hello, I have a B.Sc (honors) degree. Can I do M.Com and after completing, can I appear in CBSE-UGC-NET in commerce subject?

Hi Vikram,
After M.Com you can give NET exam and further you can pursue your PhD.Once you clear NET exam you are eligible to become a professor in Commerce. Minimum percentage is 1st Division in your Masters in Commerce for the same.
As per my research , there is no age limit.
