Hi, it is a very good idea to learn a foreign language, as it gives you an edge and importantly it also makes your resume look good, hence helping you in getting recruited. However in order for it to make a substantial difference, you need to study the language properly from a good institute. As far as which language to study is concerned, German, French and Spanish are all good. German is a good choice, especially for fields that are technically related.
