what is difference between correspondence course and regular course of mba ?

The difference as the name suggests is in the mode of study, while regular courses are classroom session courses where the student has to attend classes; distance/ correspondence courses are more about self study where the study material is sent to the student and s/he has to understand and learn it on their own. The prospects of a full time regular management course are better than a correspondence or distance learning course. The acceptability and recognition of a full time course is higher in industry and so the long term career gains are more. Distance learning courses are ideally meant for those who are working and cannot leave their jobs to further their education. It is thus an add-on to ones experience and not so much as a stand alone degree. Those who follow the distance route need to try some what harder to get good jobs, but jobs also are available for those who have the requisite talents, skills, strengths, personality and those who fit into the work culture of the firm. We would suggest that you seek admission to a regular course, else do also evaluate options for part time courses. All the Best!

i will say both are good because both are designed for different sections of people and both are relevant looking at the cause for which MBA is being done i will sugest that persons must judge their need of doing MBA and then only choose the relevant course .but regular course always has an upper edge but it can be compromised with good enough experience. OR The one potential advantage of distance learning MBA degree is time and location flexibility.The method removes all the barriers pertaining to physical presence, time and geographical location.Regular MBA colleges are good when group discussion, classmates, oral communication and visual contact comes into picture.Distance learning MBA have no oral communication, visual contact and deadlines. Lack of oral communication and visual contact leaves a person confused at some stage when there is something that he or she does not understands.Distance learning courses can come handy for professionals in job, handicapped people, students in remote area not able to attend regular classes.One leading advantage of Regular MBA is Avaibility of campus recruitment and placement which is unavailable to students pursuing distance MBA.

Regular includes classroom guided learning while the other adopts more of a self learning with contact sessions provided.
