I have done aircraft maintenance engineering from Bharat Institute of aeronautics, Patna recognized by DGCA. I would like to know whether I am eligible for the course of Bachelor of Academic Law or Bachelor of general Law through correspondence medium? Also whether my degree will be recognized by the Bar Council of India and if not can I get recognized by appearing for Bar Association exam? Will I be eligible to work as a legal adviser if don't appear the Bar exam? Please also tell about the fee structure.

Hi, the eligibility for the BGL and BAL is 12th pass with the minimum percentage marks. This percentage varies from Institute to institute.hence with your qualifications you will be eligible. The aircraft maintainence course is really not recognised by the Bar Council for any reason. You can wok as

You would be eligible for a Law course if you have cleared your 12th. Although there are Universities which offer you distance courses but this mode of education is not recognized by the BCI and by this way you would not be eligible to practice law professionally. It will be just an add
