Which countries directly recognises indian BDS degree? What should an indian dentist do to work in switzerland or canada?

There are numerous career opportunities available for students who have finished their studies in BDS. Both firms of the private as well as public sectors take in dentists of good qualification. A variety of entrance tests are being carried out in these sectors for the recruitment of candidates. It is possible for students to join with hospitals, public health centers, community health centres and with educational institutions. Graduates of dentistry can also get jobs with the defense services. To get jobs with them, the students will be required to write the UPSC exams. For an exciting career students can join with the forensic department. An alternative to all this for them is to start their own clinics.

Hi, You can practice dentistry in Canada. Foreign-trained dentists like in India apart from education, licensure, or experience, you need to have the Canadian licence to practise dentistry in Canada. For this should contact the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD). This career gives you many options to interact with people and helping them with their problem, you can open your own clinic, you can get into teaching, health care, community service, research etc. Dentists working in Switzerland on a temporary basis (for a maximum of 3 months) in a self employed capacity (so-called service providers) are required to have their foreign dental diploma recognized in advance by the Executive Board. The cantons only grant approval to practise in a self-employed capacity to those who hold a Swiss dental diploma or a foreign dental diploma recognized by the Executive Board. Good Luck
