Hi Sasank, In fact your current position would add value to your Bio-date to get admission in MBA-Financial Management if you have a successful track record in your business. (Considering your 3 years experience is as a sub broker to the stock broking house). But there would a question in personal Interview you would face to justify your movement from Bio technology to Finance Management. Good luck.

it is perfectly OK if you intend to do an MBA in finance now at this juncture of your life even though u have done graduation in biotechnology. But make sure you are good at whetever you are currently doing, as without that doing the MBA would not be worth much & would be difficult as well for you to gain entry into any good B school.

    Hi Sanket,
No, The three years of your experience will not as such have any adverse effects to prevent you from getting admission to any good B-School, it will just raise a few questions at the time of interviews to which you may handle truly.
As for the MBA course is concerned, I would suggest you to opt for a regular course and for which you will be required to qualify various entrances conducted by different Institutes like CAT/XAT/ SNAP etc. Almost all the institutes offers MBA in Finance as a specialization and to know about these you may refer to the following link:

Hi Sanket,First of all I would like to say always follow the path were your interest lies as that is the field where you will excel the most. Now coming to your MBA, those three which you feel would be an hindrance in doing your MBA would rather help you because you would be able to apply your practical experience in your MBA classes and would be able to understand the subject better. For MBA you need a graduation degree with 50% marks and a good CAT or other entrance exam scores. As far as you job prospectus are concerned what can be better for the employers an MBA degree plus three yrs of working exposure and since the field you were
